This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and shared when you use the mobile app GeoHist Trivia (the "App") or visit this website. By using the App, you accept the practices described in this policy.
1. Who is responsible
GeoHist Trivia is published by Santiago David Postorivo. For any privacy question or request, contact: santiagopostorivo@gmail.com.
2. App data: offline-first, local-only
GeoHist Trivia is designed to keep your privacy as a priority. The App works mostly locally (offline-first) and does not collect or store personal identifying information on its own servers (such as your name, address, or email). All game progress, levels, medals, and settings are saved locally on your device.
3. Third-party services (SDK inventory)
To enrich the user experience and maintain the project, the App and this website use third-party services provided by Google. These services may collect information and device identifiers under their own policies:
- AdMob (Google Mobile Ads): used to show ads. AdMob may use your device's Android advertising ID to personalize the ads you see.
- Google Play Games Services: used for automatic sign-in, unlocking achievements, and global leaderboards. Touches your player profile, achievements, and leaderboard scores.
- Google Play Billing: handles secure in-app purchase processing (for example, the "Remove Ads" option). Payment data is handled entirely by Google; we never access your financial data or credit cards.
- Firebase Analytics (website only): website analytics are consent-gated — collected only after the visitor grants consent.
- Firestore via the contact form (website only): stores the message content you submit through the contact form.
4. Retention and deletion
Messages are deleted after they are handled. All local app data (progress, levels, medals, and settings) is cleared when you uninstall the App. To request deletion of any data we hold, write to: santiagopostorivo@gmail.com.
